Beautifully soft, warm and hypoallergenic, these calf-length alpaca wool socks are an upgrade for your everyday sock drawer. Naturally insulating, moisture-wicking and breathable, they offer comfort in cooler weather while remaining gentle on sensitive skin. Crafted from natural alpaca wool fibres, this classic cream shade is soft and pale with a gentle yellow warmth. A lighter neutral that feels relaxed and easy to wear. Previously known as ‘cream – undyed’.

Care

Machine washable at up to 30°C on a gentle or wool cycle using a mild, non-biological detergent. Turn socks inside out before washing and avoid fabric softeners, bleach, or harsh chemicals. Hand washing in cool or lukewarm water is also suitable for extra care.

Do not tumble dry as heat can cause shrinkage and damage fibres. Air dry flat, reshaping while damp.

Do not iron or bleach alpaca wool socks, as heat and chemicals can damage the natural fibres.

Store clean, dry socks folded in a cool, breathable space.

Sourcing

Our Alpaca socks are made in a traditional British mill in the west of England. We’ve worked with this family-run mill for five years making sure only the best quality socks are produced. Our Alpaca fibres are sustainably sourced from the Peruvian Highlands.

Returns:

Are alpaca socks warmer than wool?

Yes. Alpaca socks are often warmer than traditional wool. Alpaca fibre has a hollow core and retains heat more efficiently, offering insulation while staying light and breathable. Warmth without weight.

How do I care for and wash alpaca socks?

Wash alpaca socks in cool water (30°C) on a gentle or wool cycle using mild detergent. Avoid heat and tumble drying. Reshape while damp and lay flat to air dry to preserve their softness and fit.

Are these alpaca bed socks or can they be worn daily?

These are our alpaca everyday socks. They’re are a medium weight alpaca yarn. Our Ultra Soft Alpaca range are designed specifically for lounging and bed.

Are these socks unisex?

Yes. All Pairs socks are unisex.

Is there free delivery?

Free delivery is available at checkout when paying by credit card for orders over £50 GBP in the UK, €120 in the EU and £100 for the rest of the world. All standard UK deliveries are dispatched with via Royal Mail's 48hr tracked service.

Are Pairs socks sustainable?

We work with makers that we know and trust in British, Portuguese and Turkish mills. We source only the highest quality natural fibres that last longer and need replacing less often. We aim to encourage buying less, but better. All our packaging is home recyclable.
