The bed socks I received are truly lovely soft Alpaca wool, but they are not really thick enough for bed socks. I shall probably use them under trousers with my trainers in the cooler days of this Spring/Summer.

In research I found that Pairs prices were well within reason. The products well made and they arrive with care instructions. The products are nicely wrapped and presented as quality items which they indeed are. The bedsocks keep my feet nicely warmed at night. The alpaca yarn on another pair and style is so soft as is the Marino. The socks do not bind into one's skin and they fit very nicely. There are colors and different styles from which to chose. Simply Awesome Socks

So happy I came across these socks whilst looking for luxury bed socks. I'm a diabetic and socks are a very difficult to find. Bought from shops that actually say they're for diabetics and had issues. The lambs wool luxury bed socks I purchased from Pairs Scotland are truly awesome. Minutes after the postman left I had them on my feet. They are warm and so very cosy whilst also ticking the box of being beautifully soft. I highly recommend Pairs Scotland if you want good warm and definitely a decent pair of socks that can worn throughout the day and night.

I tried 3 different types of socks! Firstly great packaging! Arrived quickly and colours were better than the screen. They are soft and warm without that 'too hot damp' feeling that I get from cheaper socks. I have terrible circulation in my feet and although I felt it was cold outside I didn't get numb feet so thumbs up there. Socks arrived- beautifully packed in tissue with a care label. Alpaca for me at the best time of year! Heavy snow here and I have had toasty feet since. Seem to wear better than cashmere. I also got a pair of bed socks for £10 but haven’t used them yet. I bought alpaca socks for a friends birthday and she was delighted with them. The company gave me free postage too. Third pair are wrapped to be delivered today. I have been telling everyone about them.

Absolutely love these socks

Absolutely love these socks, brought a couple of pairs of bed socks first for around the house, they keep you feet perfectly warm and not too warm and wash up lovely. After seeking advice from they very helpful team I brought some long alpaca socks to wear under my riding boot. Lovely warm feet and they don’t get sweaty (sorry for too much info) but an important point when out all day in the cold. Will be buying more and recommending them to everyone. Worth every penny.

Bedsocks in beautiful orange colour

The bed socks have been purchased as a Christmas gift so haven’t been worn yet by the recipient - my daughter. She has cold feet so cannot wait for her to wear them as they look to be perfect for her needs. The quality looks excellent and the colour is gorgeous! Packaging and delivery perfect.

Lovely British Product with a personal touch

They have come beautifully packaged, and feel so soft - both Alpaca wool and lamb wool bed socks. I even ordered the wrong size in one of the pairs, but instead of sending back, they are so lovely, I kept them for myself and ordered another pair (or two!) as Christmas gifts! My only feedback would be in consideration to postage incentives - maybe offering free postage after say £50, may have encouraged me to order more pairs in the first place.

Absolutely lovely! Beautiful Llama wool bed socks that, with a promotion, were delivered with a gorgeous pair of lambs wool bed socks free. Both pairs fabulous quality, so very lovely to now have warm but breathable feet. So soft, and can be worn pulled up over the calf or slouched down, either way, not tight and no leg marking. Excellent customer service as I has a query which was responded to very quickly by email mail and when the socks arrived the packaging was a delight, boxed with pretty tissue paper. Beautifully packaged. Haven’t worn the merino socks yet, but I wore the lambs wool bed socks (free gift with purchase) to bed and had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in - literally - years. I thought I might be too hot but I know wool is very breathable and read somewhere that sleeping in socks can help with sleep issues. I’ve tried it with other socks, with no improvement. Aside from better sleep, the socks are extremely comfortable.

So good I had to buy more!

I heard about this company when one of the owners was a guest on BBC Radio 4's The Bottom Line with Evan Davis. I liked the idea of the "buy better buy less" philosophy and also liked the idea of supporting an independent UK based business so decided to place an order not long after this programme was broadcast. Unfortunately this was a time when the Royal Mail strikes were causing chaos with deliveries but the company quickly responded to my queries when my order was not received and resent a replacement which was received without any fuss. The socks themselves are wonderful. I ordered the ones made from alpaca wool and they are so comfy you won't want to go back to wearing anything else. My favourites though have to be the lambswool bed socks. They have kept my feet toasty warm throughout this very cold winter both in and out of bed. The quality is also very high and they seem like they will last many years if looked after correctly (use the wool or hand-wash setting on your washing machine). I have just received my second order and these were received just a couple of days after the order was placed and again, really pleased. I really recommend this company - high quality products and excellent service. What more could you want?

I’m absolutely delighted with my wool bed socks - in the past I’ve only worn cashmere but got frustrated by the fact they didn’t stay soft for long despite careful washing. I bought two sets of Pairs in orange and brown. They handwash beautifully, and stay soft and roomy for the perfect night’s sleep - and excellent value. Have ordered two more pairs.

Summer socks…

I've been looking and trying various socks from other companies especially for the summer. These merino calf length seems to fit the bill as they are soft and comfortable. We shall see how hard wearing they are but an easy 9 rating so far and I'm really pleased the elastic doesn't cut my leg off as some others do. Need to buy some more. Thank you Pairs

Flat toe seams are wonderful!

As someone with wide feet, I've always had issues with toes seams pressing painfully into the toes. Not a problem with the merino socks! Their flat toe seam is pain free even in narrow shoes. The material is also good quality and feels like it will last a long time.

A Big Upgrade from Standard Cotton Socks

I bought the merino wool and bamboo rayon socks, and they’re a big step up from regular cotton socks. They’re softer, more breathable, and wick moisture much better, keeping my feet dry and comfortable all day. They’ve also held up really well after multiple washes, no pilling or stretching, just the same great fit. The quality and durability are far better than what I’ve found in retail stores. Highly recommended!

These are my favourite socks - I have several pairs of the merino knit ones and have bought them as gifts for people a couple of times too. I love the range of colours. They are lovely quality and, most importantly, never fall down inside my shoes when I'm walking places!

Thoroughly recommended

I'm working my way through a new selection of mostly bamboo and merino-rich socks and my intial impressions are that they're extremely well made and likely to be around for a long time. The solid colours are rich, the weaves strong and consistent and stitching is very good. I'll try to avoid the tumble dryer to maximise the chances of them retaining a good shape and minimising shrinkage and fabric weakness. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, although to be honest have so many pairs of socks that I've run out of storage.

Pairs Mohair Socks

These are the second order of Pairs Mohair dark grey socks that I have bought and have become my favorite socks to wear with anything. They are very beautiful and have exactly the right length of calf. Much better than my Merino socks in many ways. They are a little thicker look smarter and are much softer and feel very comfortable to wear. I wear them with both my formal trousers and with my suits as well as my casual joggers which I wear most of the time.

Fabulous items, very easy to navigate small website. Initially I bought 4 pairs of the Merino based sock but I thought them to be so good, I repeated the order. Typically I’m not a socks fan as I find them too hot & stuffy but these are perfect. My feet feel like they can breathe and they look good too. For someone that normally walks barefoot both in the house & garden, it’s a big thumbs up. I don’t think I’d buy any other socks in future!
