The delivery was so quick I was very surprised! Ordered Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday! The socks themselves are lovely. I have worn the mohair pair for 4 days in a row as being wool they don’t need such frequent washing. This is very important to me as I’m trying to reduce use of the washing machine and try to use wool more than cotton in my clothing for this reason.They are very comfortable, soft but substantial enough to cushion my feet for long walks. They are warm but not over hot. I love the colours too, muted but strong. I haven’t worn the merino socks yet as it hasn’t been quite warm enough for me to do so yet but I’m sure they will be great too! I will be buying more and hope that when the winter comes there will be a re stock of knee high socks!

A wonderful company

A wonderful company. The socks are quite expensive initially but when they say you can use them for several days without washing you actually can which is great. I love all of them but prefer the ones that can be washed on a normal cycle just for ease. They are really soft and comfy which suprised me as they are mixed with acrylics so thought they would be quite itchy. I am glad I took the risk, have not worn any other socks since buying these ❤️ the only thing I have a small issue with is the alpaca style as I find they leave marks on my ankles not sure if it is the material or they are a slightly tighter style so compresses a little but they are still very comfortable to wear.

A new wardrobe staple

Well, I’m not normally given to cliches, but these socks - I ordered six pairs of the mohair variety in navy blue - are indeed unexpectedly joyful! They have washed well, and are supremely warm and comfortable. Please keep prioritising quality - not many companies do, and I’m tired of buying socks that go into holes within six months.

This is my second review on TRUSTPILOT for this company. I have now received my third order from Pairs. This time for several pairs of the wonderfully coloured Marino wool socks, which I think are light enough (breathable of course) to work in Spring and Summer. Previously, I have had Mohair, Alpaca and my favourite, the gorgeously cosy Lambswool. I also have the knee and regular length socks. They are all excellent quality, look and feel gorgeous. It’s important to me that animals don’t suffer for the products I buy and Pairs are careful to ensure this is the case for the materials they use. In addition to being delighted with the products, I also like that purchasing from Pairs means I am supporting a small business.

The socks are lovely.

The socks are lovely. Soft, comfy, nice colours. The lambswool bed socks, which I wear for schlepping around the house, feel like my feet are being cuddled by kittens. And they have just the right clench around the top, not too tight. I gave a pair to a friend who has diabetes, and therefore can't wear tight socks, and he thinks they are great. The mohair calf length socks, look and feel good. The mix of fibres with the mohair will wear well. The online ordering and delivering was easy and efficient - everything arrived on time, nicely packaged. My feet and I are very happy and will not hesitate to buy again from Pairs.

Lovely warm soft socks

Lovely socks , soft and warmest I have had, carefully packaged and sent with care. thankyou and so pleased I found Pairs Scotland. I like the Mohair ones the best for day wear and so easy to wash and dry. love the lambswool bedsocks pop them on in a morning whilst pottering about. Fab and recommend anyone to give them a try.

I need these in my life!

This company seems to me to engage extremely well with their customers, which makes buying from them a pleasure.The socks arrived very promptly in spite of postal strikes. I love that the company is based in Perthshire so they understand about our cold dark winters! We need to have warm feet! I love the colour choice, and all of the three pairs that I bought are excellent, including the alpaca ones I bought for my husband. He actually said he’s very happy with them which is quite something for a man who doesn’t normally enthuse about clothing! I use my mohair and my lambswool socks for both boot socks when dog walking, and for lounging in the house, so am going to order more.

Great customer service and lovely products! I ordered a pair of mohair socks and a pair of alpaca socks and received a pair of lambs wool bed socks free. At the moment I have only worn the bed socks as the other products are gifts. They are lovely, very soft and warm, the packaging was really nice and delivery was fast. I ordered - Lambswool bed socks - grey Navy - Alpaca socks - size small Rose - Mohair Socks - size small I’m a shoe size 51/2 to 6 - would recommend size small. They are really lovely - the bed socks are so soft and have kept my feet warm, since we’ve had a cold spell. Service excellent - didn’t take too long to come in the post. I’m absolutely delighted with my wool bed socks - in the past I’ve only worn cashmere but got frustrated by the fact they didn’t stay soft for long despite careful washing. I bought two sets of Pairs in orange and brown. They handwash beautifully, and stay soft and roomy for the perfect night’s sleep - and excellent value. Have ordered two more pairs.

Summer socks…

I've been looking and trying various socks from other companies especially for the summer. These merino calf length seems to fit the bill as they are soft and comfortable. We shall see how hard wearing they are but an easy 9 rating so far and I'm really pleased the elastic doesn't cut my leg off as some others do. Need to buy some more. Thank you Pairs

Flat toe seams are wonderful!

As someone with wide feet, I've always had issues with toes seams pressing painfully into the toes. Not a problem with the merino socks! Their flat toe seam is pain free even in narrow shoes. The material is also good quality and feels like it will last a long time.

A Big Upgrade from Standard Cotton Socks

I bought the merino wool and bamboo rayon socks, and they’re a big step up from regular cotton socks. They’re softer, more breathable, and wick moisture much better, keeping my feet dry and comfortable all day. They’ve also held up really well after multiple washes, no pilling or stretching, just the same great fit. The quality and durability are far better than what I’ve found in retail stores. Highly recommended!

These are my favourite socks - I have several pairs of the merino knit ones and have bought them as gifts for people a couple of times too. I love the range of colours. They are lovely quality and, most importantly, never fall down inside my shoes when I'm walking places!

Thoroughly recommended

I'm working my way through a new selection of mostly bamboo and merino-rich socks and my intial impressions are that they're extremely well made and likely to be around for a long time. The solid colours are rich, the weaves strong and consistent and stitching is very good. I'll try to avoid the tumble dryer to maximise the chances of them retaining a good shape and minimising shrinkage and fabric weakness. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, although to be honest have so many pairs of socks that I've run out of storage.

Pairs Mohair Socks

These are the second order of Pairs Mohair dark grey socks that I have bought and have become my favorite socks to wear with anything. They are very beautiful and have exactly the right length of calf. Much better than my Merino socks in many ways. They are a little thicker look smarter and are much softer and feel very comfortable to wear. I wear them with both my formal trousers and with my suits as well as my casual joggers which I wear most of the time.

You get what you pay for...Quality. and that’s what I got, the Socks I ordered were fantastic really comfortable and a fit that you used to get years ago before foreign imports took over. Although a bit more expensive the product is well worth it. A mention should be given to the tracking process which was informative and up to date, my goods were delivered within 2 days of ordering. Fabulous items, very easy to navigate small website. Initially I bought 4 pairs of the Merino based sock but I thought them to be so good, I repeated the order. Typically I’m not a socks fan as I find them too hot & stuffy but these are perfect. My feet feel like they can breathe and they look good too. For someone that normally walks barefoot both in the house & garden, it’s a big thumbs up. I don’t think I’d buy any other socks in future!
